Fact Sheet

The name KarmaZin™ was bestowed in gratitude for the many gifts of good Karma received in life, whatever the source. When positive energy is put forth in hard work mixed with integrity, the giver is rewarded with success, the fulfillment of a dream.

Winemaker Notes:

Very complexly layered spice and black fruits, lively! Dark chocolate, Creamy oak, a bit of vanilla cola, brown spices-nutmeg/cinnamon. Rich in mouth, good structure for aging, a bit chewy in its youth.

October 14 (Zin) and 20 (Pet and AB), 2018

0.58 gm/100ml pH 3.80

Fermentation Characteristics:

4 day cold soak, then tank-fermented (Zin), Déléstaged 4 times by 12°Brix, 17 days total on skins Pet and AB were bin-fermented and punched down twice daily

Cellar Storage/Aging:

12 months in oak barrels-- 40% new French 40% new American 20% older neutrals
