Fact Sheet

Our Cuvée Jacqueline is elegant, pretty and complex, much like our friend Jacqueline herself. Sustainably farmed vines and the wild yeast that grow upon their grapes have created this wonderfully rich and creamy Zinfandel.

Winemaker Notes:

Aromas of black cherry, plum and raspberry fruit combine with a beautiful hint of vanilla-oak loveliness, smoothly textured in mouth, very creamy and round, the finish is long and has lush jammy fruit.

Harvest Date:

September 18-24, 2014

Fermentation Characteristics:

Uninoculated (WILD) yeast fermentation, which took 3 days to start (cold soak!) for total of 18 days on skins. Déléstaged (pronounced 'del-ess-TAHJd) two times before 10ºBrix

Cellar Storage/Aging:

11 months in a mix of American and French barrels: 20% were new or one-year old

Mendocino County
